Chick-fil-A is known for its chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and waffle fries – but its test kitchen is now offering customers an unexpected item to try: pizza.
The pizza flavors are available exclusively at the company's test kitchen restaurant in College Park, Maryland. The restaurant, called Little Blue Menu, announced the launch of the pizza on March 14, otherwise known as Pi Day.
"Happy Pi(e) Day, College Park. We're solving the equation by taking all the flavors you love and turning them into delicious 11-inch pizza pies," the restaurant's Instagram post read.
Here's what to know about Chick-fil-A's pizza:
Where can you get Chick-fil-A pizza? Why are they testing it?
Chick-fil-A said in a news release there will be five new pizza pies and a Pepperoni Pizza 'Round available exclusively to customers at Little Blue Menu College Park beginning March 18.
“As an innovation kitchen brand, we are constantly looking at what our customers want to better serve them," said Stuart Tracy, senior culinary lead developer at Chick-fil-A, in the news release. "We've noticed our customers getting creative with Chick-fil-A ingredients on pizzas at home, so we've decided to jump on board!" he added.
Chick-fil-A said in an emailed statement to USA TODAY that it has no plans to feature these items at Chick-fil-A restaurants.

What are the Chick-fil-A pizza flavors?
According to the company, the five pizza flavors available are:
- Chick-fil-A Pizza Pie: Mozzarella cheese topped with chopped Chick-fil-A nuggets, drizzled with Chick-fil-A sauce and served with pickles.
- Buff-lo-Ranch Pizza Pie: Mozzarella cheese topped with sliced Chick-fil-A nuggets, buffalo sauce and house-made ranch dressing drizzles, and a dusting of zesty lemon pepper seasoning.
- Cheese Pizza Pie: Signature tomato sauce topped with mozzarella cheese.
- Pepperoni Pizza Pie: Signature tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, topped with pepperoni.
- Meats-n-Veg Pizza Pie: Signature tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, topped with a medley of pepperoni, sliced sausage, chorizo, meatballs, mushrooms and red bell peppers.
The Pepperoni Pizza 'Round is the company's take on a classic calzone and features signature tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and crispy pepperoni.
What is Little Blue Menu?
According to Chick-fil-A's website, Little Blue Menu is an "innovation kitchen brand" created by Chick-fil-A. It is inspired by the founder of Chick-fil-A's first restaurant established in 1946, where he tested different menu items and presented them on a blue menu, according to the company.
In addition to the regular Chick-fil-A menu, Little Blue Menu offers a variety of food options, including wings and burgers.
Little Blue Menu's only location, in College Park, Maryland, is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
