If recent history is any indicator of success, a team from the Southeastern Conference will hold up the Men's College World Series national championship trophy at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska.
The conference has produced each of the last four and five of the last six winners of the double-elimination tournament, with LSU winning its seventh national championship last season over conference rival Florida.
Also, the Tigers' chances of winning it all again aren’t great, as there hasn’t been a repeat champion since South Carolina pulled off the feat in 2010 and 2011.
