Will you accept this rose, er, invitation to learn more about Chase McNary and Ellie White’s wedding?
The Bachelor Nation star married the hat designer at the ski resort Arapahoe Basin in Dillon, Colo. on July 6.
“I just married my best friend on top of a Colorado mountain at 11,500 feet…” Ellie wrote on Instagram July 7, “and this is a high that I might not ever come down from.”
For the big day, the bride wore a Galia Lahav gown while the groom donned a black tux. And as they said “I do,” they were surrounded by their nearest and dearest, including fellow Bachelorette alum Luke Pell.
“Throughout the day, one thing stood out to me above all else – the countless compliments we received about our friends and all of the wedding guests as a whole,” Ellie continued. “We are so incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing people from all stages of our lives. Thank you so much to everyone that traveled to celebrate us and thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. You can now call me Eleanor Fleming McNary.”
As for the wedding’s theme, the couple wanted the celebration to feel chill versus the most dramatic ceremony ever.
“11,500 feet, love reaching new heights is kind of like our tagline on everything," Chase explained to People. "And then, not being a stiff formal wedding, because that's just not us. We're doing super lax, super fun, casual and also, just a full weekend with the people that we love.”
The venue also reflected their journey. As Chase explained to the magazine, it’s the closest ski area to the mountain area Loveland Pass where he proposed to Ellie two years ago.
And while the duo tied in their past, they’re excited about their future as husband and wife.
“I think growth and our love, growth in our number of family members in our household, growth financially," Ellie also told People. "We have a bunch of goals that we want to hit and we're both very, very driven individuals. So I think that this next chapter is growth."
Chase and Ellie made their romance Instagram official in 2020, about a year after he appeared on season six of Bachelor in Paradise. Previously, the reality star appeared on JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette, where he was among her final three suitors.
